TL;DR - walnut, Cedar and leather. A classic smoke. Recommended š Aged 8 mos, dry-boxed 7 hours ā³ļø Light-up is easy. š Starting core is toasted walnut and Cedar with background leather. Goldilocks construction and draw. Initial impressions: core has remained steady with walnut, Cedar and leather. This ends up being the linear experience through the entire cigar. Burn š„ required some touch-ups, but overall fine. Medium flavors and medium nicotine. Pairing ideas: the walnut bitterness might not pair with coffee very well. Other than that, this cigar seems like it has many options for pairing.
Mareva. First inch was very harsh and one dimensional. Crazy pepper on the retro. Aroma was that of a cheap gas station cigar. Flavor picked up in the middle with some spice and wood notes but went back to harsh and bland fairly quickly. Very disappointing.
Great easy going cigar. Smooth and even burn. Flavour is consistent. Good price point. Would recommend to new smokers or seasoned smokers who want a mellow cigar with character.
Good medium body smoke. Started like chocolate leather and mild. Grew in strength and dropped the chocolate flavor. Leather throughout but a bit of pepper at the end.
I straight cut the cap after toasting the foot and got a couple nice draws with delicious flavor of cedarwood and graham cracker. One side seems to consistently canoe more than the other which is disappointing, but I'm trying to fix the burn without touching it up with a lighter. A bit of the wrapper seems to be torn, which I didn't notice until the second third, and maybe that has something to do with the poor burn. I removed the band as the burn approached and the ash fell off, about 3 inches left. The flavor is great with a medium spice in the retrohale, cashew creaminess, cedarwood, a slight coffee flavor with a little vanilla sweetness. The ash is flaky with a little tooth that isn't visible on the wrapper. The wrapper is silky smooth but has a couple tears. After touching it up and taking off the band the burn evened out well but the first half canoed quite a bit. Aside from the burn issues this was a great cigar
