Little rough after lighting. Had to retouch 2 times. Once it entered the 2/3 it was phenomenal. SMOOTH. Earthy. Leathery. With a hint of sweetness. Smoked to the nub
This was a really good tasting stick but as a full flavor it’s not quite full. At over 20$ a stick it would seem for that flavor profile and a true full strength a padron 1964 Maduro at under 20$ is vastly superior to this blend. But that’s saying something because that is a legendary cigar. The draw was on the airy side and the burn needed touched several times to correct. The flavor was there however, I would categorize this as the lower side of a full profile. Both in terms of flavor and nicotine. Who would buy this? People that like more than a medium but not a big body full. Such as, If you like an airy draw and you like a toned down hit with very little spices and peppers and open airy chocolate along with creams. I would buy this again for a more mid day smoke once in a great while. But there are in fact better and at better prices.
Well constructed, lovely rosado wrapper. Fillers must be well aged, because surprisingly mellow for Nicaraguan tobaccos. Nice cedar up front, complex in the middle, but did get the mustiness Davidoff gets knocked for at the end.
