I've previously liked this cigar but as my palate has expanded it has decreased on my list. It's ok. Really open draw and a cool burn but the flavor just isn't what I want.

The draw was tighter on this one than I remember previously, which required more effort to pull smoke. However, the burn stayed fairly even with this, only needing one correction. The flavor profile presented mostly charred wood and some creamy pepper.

I loved the opener on this cigar, deep earthy nutty notes complimented by a nice spice and full depth! As I got halfway through though, it had trouble burning consistently and the wrapper completely fell to pieces. Great cigar, poor construction, expected better from AJ.

Here's a cigar I've had periodically, but the larger War Horse has a smoother vibe to it. The flavor notes are still consistent with leather, wood, and some toasted notes. Although the burn had a tendency to waver, it was still slow with a smooth draw.

Great flavor. Strong chocolate flavor creamy and smooth. Draw is a bit airy and cigar is loosely packed. This caused it to smoke rather quickly but not overly hot and burn was decent. Nice treat for a mid day smoke on a 70 spring day in Michigan

Aged 5mo. Punch cut. Draw and burn both excellent 👌. Medium bodied with rich and balanced flavors. Flavors of cedar chocolate and spice. A favorite.

Burn and draw ok. Not very good smoke per draw. Had to relight once. Full bodied. Flavors of cedar oak espresso chocolate and spice.

Aged 4mo. Bit of a tight draw, burn a bit uneven. Medium bodied, smooth and creamy. Flavors of cedar pepper and a touch of sweet.

Aged 4mo. Burn a little uneven, draw great. Bold rich and smooth. Flavors of chocolate, espresso, pepper and earth. Great pairing with a mild black coffee.

'R'guably La Gloria Cubana's finest. The La Gloria Cubana Serie R cigar utilizes an Ecuadorian grown Colorado shade wrapper, or Connecticut Broadleaf maduro, concealing an extensively aged blend of Dominican and Nicaraguan filler leaves. The result is a richer, spicier, fuller bodied version of the regular La Gloria Cubana cigar line. Using thicker ring gauges, the Serie R helped pave the way for today’s thicker, bolder cigars. Experience the beginning of a legend. The Serie R has been honored with a 92-rating noting: "Rich in color with an oily wrapper and superbly crafted cap, this short robusto draws and burns evenly. Sweet woods and floral notes are balanced by spices, earth and hints of dried orange peel."
