Really great set! All the sticks are in great shape and smoke perfectly. Not a bad one in the sampler! 🔥

Aged 3mo. Burn a little uneven. Draw was great after drilling through the rock hard packed head. Medium cigar with flavor of earth, nut and cedar. It’s balanced and flavorful. Paired great with the citrus Blue Moon.

Smooth and creamy. Flavors of nut cedar and a hint of sweet and spice. Mild and paired well with diet coke.

TL;DR - smokes great and tastes like burned vegetables. Pass. 5 mos aged. ⏳️ Prelight is hay with light honey. Tastes of light leather. Goldilocks draw with impeccable outer construction. Wrapper is a little spotty. Lights up perfectly. Starting off, there's a Woody undertone that's paired with a grassy experience. Retrohale is a bit grassy also. Now, grassy-vegetable is settling on the palate. Not great. I'm guessing it's the Indonesian wrapper that's doing this. It's a first impression for me and not a good one. First third is complete, and I'm not seeing that this is going to change. For a similar experience, maybe chew some burnt Bok Choy and Kale. Early discard.

2mo rested. Draw real tight used Perfecdraw. 1st third didn't burn well. A few touches before finally straightening out. Medium bodied has rich flavors of cedar, coffee, and a slight nuttiness. Paired well with a bourbon cask scotch.

2mo rested. Draw a bit tight, burn good. Smooth and creamy with a touch of nut and spice. Flavor a bit one dimensional.

Updated review. Still portrayed as a simple cigar in terms of flavor, with mostly spice and leather notes. The construction is solid. This time, however, the draw was smooth and not too tight, so the flavors blended better. The burn still stayed fairly even. In general, the construction quality is solid, and the I really cigar gets a slight rating improvement over the recent 80 on the last try. Acquired from TGS24 event.

Violent delights that don't have violent ends! The Reserva Real lineup from Romeo y Julieta is one of the most recognized and sought-after blends available today! Dating back well over 100 years ago, Romeo y Julieta has a storied history and continues to produce some of the tastiest cigars around. With this unique line extension, you'll find yourself wrapped up in this iconic twisted love story. These barber-poled beauties are eye-catching are exemplify the complexities of romance by utilizing a flawlessly woven combination of Ecuador Habano and Ecuador Connecticut wrapper tobaccos. Beneath these starcrossed wrappers, there is a Nicaraguan binder enveloping a hearty blend of both Dominican and Nicaraguan long-fillers. With top notes of cedar, spice, and cashews, these flavorful yet mellow to medium-bodied characters would make a fine addition to your cigar rotation!

Prelight was pleasant, though nothing special. Physically, the cigar is firm to the touch, but gives slightly. No soft spots. Essentially, the construction seems like it's good. I kept it 4 months in the humidor and gave it a 5 hour dry boxing to prepare it for the smoke. That's the last good thing I have to say about this cigar. Trying to get this cigar lit was nothing less than a fight. What I discovered about 1 and 1/2 inches into the cigar is that there was a center core that was not burning properly, and this was causing an uncontrollable runner. Every puff was Char. If you like to suck on charcoal, this cigar may be for you. To me, this cigar is garbage. Early discard. I will not be buying any more.

In humidor 1 month. Burn is good. Had to use perfecdraw. Mostly cedar and almond flavor with a touch of spice. A little boring. Paired with matcha tea.

A simple cigar in terms of flavor, with mostly just spice and leather notes. The construction is solid. The draw was a little tight, but the burn stayed fairly even. In general, the construction quality is appreciated, but the flavor is a little too underwhelming. Acquired from TGS24 event.
