So far the most plesurable cigar that I have tried. Beautiful, dark wrapper with eye-catching band, apperance, precise, tight-packed tobacco with perfect draw and burn. Speaking of technicalities, it was 10/10 experience. When it comes to flavour I thought I would get something different from sun grown wrapper. Nevertheless it was a bad surprise or disappointment. Flavour-wise this stick was stable throughout whole smoke session. Every puff, from tip to bottom, was almost identical. I could sense a blend of roasted coffee, black pepper, maple syrup and walnuts. None of them dominated the palette and that is why it was also hard for me to detect all flavours this cigar could offer. So far, this has been the most pleasurable cigar I've tried. In terms of flavor, I expected something different from a sun-grown wrapper. In truth, I based my expectations merely on other people's opinions on dark wrappers so that's it. However, it wasn’t an unpleasant surprise or a disappointment—just not what I had anticipated. The flavor profile remained consistent throughout the entire smoke session. Every puff, from start to finish, offered a well-balanced blend of roasted coffee, black pepper, maple syrup, and walnuts. None of these notes overpowered the others, making it challenging to pick apart all the nuances the cigar had to offer.
I will definitely give it another go.
Paired with a stout beer—an excellent choice for now, considering my limited experience and still-developing palate.
I will give it another go 100%.
Paired with stout beer. Could not choose better for now, regarding my lack of experience and still developing palette.
Outstanding cigar as always. Unfortunately, this time the burn line had a runner down the side that I had to touch up through the first half of the cigar. Generally a great experience, and I'll look forward to more.
These cigars pretty much always start with strong spice on the tongue and this was no exception. Outstanding. There was also a hint of dried fruit as the cherry formed. Perhaps dried current? The middle was a steady wood flavor. Oak maybe. And finally it finished with a notable but tame spice at the end. Really just great. Only complaint was the burn needed regular attention and a few relights. No big deal.
An excellent morning cigar to start a long holiday weekend. Nearly a two hour smoke that paired wonderfully with a maple pecan flavored coffee and a few chapters from a good book.
