A clean profile in general. Flavor profiles consists mainly of leather, chocolate, and spice. There's no pepper or bitterness at all. The construction is firm with almost no sponginess. The draw is easy & smooth, with a very even burn line.
TL;DR - mild cigar. Uninteresting flavor.
5 mos aged. ⏳️
Prelight: surprisingly, nothing to smell or taste. Firm to the touch with no soft spots. Draw is fine. Light-up is easy, if perfect. An ultra-light tobacco spice starts early. Predominant flavor might be hay. It doesn't have dry qualities and the hay flavor isn't bad, so it's starting as a decent mild cigar.
The burn-line is perfect 👌 and no runners / canoes. It's smoking great and smooth. Gargantuan plumes of white, puffy smoke.
Coming to the end, it's been a decent experience. Yet, nothing special. If you like a really well built and hyper-mild cigar, this might be for you.
The rosado wrapper looked excelllent. No flaws or patches, even, oily appearance. Solid to the touch, no sponginess. Smell before lighting indicates a medium bodied smoke.
First third: easy light and draw. Good flavor right up front, but not overpowering. Almonds, maybe a light trace of caramel. Firm ash, tapped at 2". The flavors here are complex. On the exhale I'm actually detecting two different notes.
Second third: mellows out a bit, reduces to single spice flavor then builds back to medium body. Spice, nutty, leather. Again, no one flavor overpowers. Kudos to the blender.
Final third: flavor builds from medium towards full. Earth and leather, trace of clove. Burned a little hot at the end.
Very good value at around 9 bucks a stick. Easily outdoes alot of the majors and boutiques in the 12-15 dollar range. Smoke it when you have few distractions and the time to appreciate the layers of flavor. Only negative was the heat at the tale end accompanied by a bit of uneven burn.
